Project Concept

Identity Night Live turns IAM concepts into characters, sketches, and stories.

Identity Night Live is a creative education concept designed to explain identity and access management through humor, recurring characters, sketches, and plain-language technical lessons. The goal is to make IAM easier to understand without watering down the real security, governance, and operational concepts behind it.

Concepts to Explain

Real IAM topics translated into approachable teaching moments.

Identity lifecycle
Joiner, mover, leaver processes
Access governance
Authentication and authorization
Privileged access
Non-human identities and service accounts
Identity automation
Security awareness through storytelling

Why This Exists

Identity education works better when people can remember the lesson.

IAM can feel abstract because it sits behind applications, approvals, groups, access models, authentication flows, and governance processes. Identity Night Live is a way to make those invisible systems easier to understand through characters, conflict, humor, and practical examples that still map back to real operational lessons.

Characters

A recurring cast for explaining identity patterns.

Ulysses User

Represents the everyday user experience and how identity decisions affect real people.

Origina Source

Represents authoritative sources, HR data, and the beginning of identity lifecycle events.

Azzie Cloud

Represents cloud identity, Entra ID, conditional access, and modern authentication patterns.

Bridger Sync

Represents synchronization, hybrid identity, and the connection between on-prem and cloud systems.

Dom Directory

Represents Active Directory, legacy identity foundations, groups, and directory operations.

Phishy Phil

Represents social engineering, risky behavior, and the security lessons users need to understand.

Format Ideas

Sketches

Short scenes that turn IAM problems into memorable character-driven situations.

Weekend Update-style segments

Quick commentary on identity concepts, access issues, and security lessons using a lighter format.

Commercial parodies

Fake ads for identity problems, broken processes, password chaos, or manual access workflows.

Technical explainers

Plain-language breakdowns of real IAM concepts behind each sketch or character moment.

Design Decisions

Teach through characters

Identity concepts are easier to remember when they are tied to people, conflicts, and repeatable story patterns.

Keep the humor tied to real IAM lessons

The goal is not just comedy. Each idea should map back to a practical identity concept, operational issue, or security lesson.

Use the lab as the technical foundation

BlamCore Labs can support the technical thinking behind future episodes, diagrams, and walkthroughs without exposing private lab implementation details.

Separate concept from production

Identity Night Live is currently a concept and creative direction. Public content should stay polished, clear, and safe while the underlying ideas continue to evolve.

Future Build Ideas

This section will grow as the creative side of the portfolio evolves.
